Lengiloriti Beadwork is a strong part of Maasai tradition and culture, beads can be a major source of income for Maasai women and sustainable income, there is a powerful positive ripple effect that can lead to meaningful personal transformation. With improved economic status comes the freedom to make decisions, educate their children,break cycles of poverty and illiteracy within their families and communities built a strong relationships with each other. FUTURE PLANS

Looking ahead, the MWACI initiative is set to enhance its support by donating funds to construct a workshop, creating a more comfortable and appealing workspace for the women artists. This new facility will not only improve their working conditions but also accommodate their artistic creations more effectively.
To further boost the women's earnings, we are developing a website and web-shop, complete with a product catalog. This online platform will enable us to showcase and sell their products on a global scale. Additionally, our beading group will receive personalized, hands-on training to sharpen their skills. This training will focus on producing higher quality products, managing personal incomes, and elevating their living standards, ultimately benefiting the entire community.

SCHOOL CLEAN WATER PROJECT

We are seeking donations to set up rainwater collection systems at schools in Lengoloriti, a notably dry region where children currently walk up to 16 km daily to reach school. This strenuous journey, coupled with a lack of food and water at the school, often leads to poor attendance and academic performance. By installing water storage tanks and harnessing the rainwater from the many school buildings, we can provide a steady supply of clean water for drinking and cooking. This initiative will significantly enhance the students' health and educational experience, encouraging better attendance and performance.
